Precise Comfort Technology Propane Gas Furnaces

Money-saving and durable, Lennox heating and cooling products are 10-15 percent more efficient than oil-based furnaces, and use half the energy of electric systems. Heat pumps don’t even come close. With up to 98 percent efficiency and a set-back thermostat, they pay for themselves in just a few years and give savings and comfort for decades. The Lennox stages from 40% to 100% power. This is determined by outdoor temperature, indoor temperature, and precisely how much heat is needed to satisfy demands. Air is also kept very fresh and clean. With the optional low-speed continuous fan setting, air is constantly improved. In-line purifiers and filters reach maximum effectiveness as they persistently eliminate molds and other allergens From ignition components to the heat exchanger,Lennox uses the very best. And, with our custom service plans, we’ll maintain your heating system for maximum performance and savings for years to come. Schagrin has been an independent Lennox Dealer since 1983. We specialize in change-out or retrofit systems. We can replace your old worn out oil furnace or inefficient heat pump, with a clean burning, high efficiency gas furnace and supply you with a quality propane gas system installation along with expert service, all from one reliable company.

Seasonal Effective Energy Rating Lennox Air Conditioning

Today, having an efficient air conditioning system is more important than ever. Lennox units not only keep the temperature down, but your costs as well. A state-of-the-art Lennox system far out-performs old AC units and more current ones, ever more recent models. Lennox units give full comfort at half the cost or less of older equipment. Air conditioning efficiency is rated by S.E.E.R (Seasonal Effective Energy Rating). At one time, a rating of 10 was good. These days, Lennox sets new standards with ratings as high as 25, which give you tremendous savings and a rapid return on your investment. But, you’ll also love the performance. The system is quiet and calm and delivers a continuous, even temperature, even during the hottest weather. Using the integrated management system, zone controls enable you to select which areas to cool and when to cool them. It even lets you control the humidity. Lennox air conditioners are just plain smart. They cool optimally, on target, with much less energy. Schagrin will be here to help you keep yours that way.

What is a furnace AFUE rating?
Annual Fuel Utilization Efficiency, or AFUE is the ratio of annual heat output of the furnace or boiler compared to the total annual fossil fuel energy consumed by a furnace or boiler. An AFUE of 90% means that 90% of the energy in the fuel becomes heat for the home and the other 10% escapes up the chimney and elsewhere.
What is a S.E.E.R rating?
The Seasonal Energy Efficiency Ratio (SEER) is an energy-efficiency rating for air conditioners. The SEER rating of a unit is the cooling output during a typical cooling-season divided by the total electric energy input during the same period. The higher the unit’s SEER rating the more energy efficient it is and the more you save.
What is a heat pump?
For climates with moderate heating and cooling needs, heat pumps offer an energy-efficient alternative to furnaces and air conditioners. Like your refrigerator, heat pumps use electricity to move heat from a cool space to a warm space, making the cool space cooler and the warm space warmer. During the heating season, heat pumps move heat from the cool outdoors into your warm house and during the cooling season, heat pumps move heat from your cool house into the warm outdoors. Because they move heat rather than generate heat, heat pumps can provide equivalent space conditioning at as little as one quarter of the cost of operating conventional heating or cooling appliances.
